We
are
a
not for profit organization dedicated to providing a peaceful home setting to dying
individuals
who
have
a
life
prognosis
of
3
months
or
less.
Our Mission
Statement:
Our
goal
is
to
provide
guidance,
support and
comfort
to
individuals and their families as they journey through the dying process.
Comfort
care
is
provided
24
hours
a
day,
7
days
a
week
at
no
cost
to
the
residents
or
their
families. We
receive
no
insurance or payment
reimbursement
of
any
kind.
We
operate
solely
on the
support
from
the
community
in
the
form
of
financial, material
donations and
volunteering.
The trained Volunteers offer gentle and loving care to our residents. The nurses interact with the health care professionals from the two Hospice Certified Agencies in Rochester, New York. We use the guidance and support of their Community Health Nurses, Social Workers and Pastoral Care persons to offer holistic care in our home.
