Volunteers
are,
and
continue
to
be
the
heart
of
Journey
Home.
It
is
only
through
their
efforts
and
endless
devotion
that
we
are
able
to
fulfill
our
mission.
Through
their
compassion
they
continually
provide
exceptional
care
and
support
to
the
residents
and
their
families.
Our
volunteers,
whether
it
is
a
direct
Resident
Caregiver
or
a
Support
volunteer,
go
through
a
training
session.
Volunteers
are
an
essential
part
of
the
continued
success
of
Journey
Home,
without
them
the
house
could
not
survive!

for
can
be
managed
in
a
home
setting.
Our

people
from
all
walks
of

While
compassionate
volunteers
for
this
area
are
always
in
need,
we
currently
have
a
specific
need
for
volunteers
on
the
weekends.
Our
resident
caregivers
assist
our
residents
with
daily
tasks
such
as
bathing,
dressing,
eating,
and
taking
medications
which
are
pre-measured.
Caregivers
are
always
supported
by
a
licensed
registered
nurse.
Support
caregivers:
Not
cut
out
to
be
a
resident
caregiver?
No
problem!
We
have
many
other
ways
you
can
help
out
as
well. We
also
need
volunteers
to
help
with
cleaning,
cooking,
clerical,
and
maintenance
tasks
not
involving
direct
resident
care.
